Introduction
Aghdasieh Residential Compound situated in one of the
northern regions of Tehran , encompasses ten units. This compound with
specific architectural characteristics and an appropriate site location is
built in five floors on top of a piloti and two cellars. The entire building
in conformity with the site is designed in the form that gets light from
both north and south direction. The units of this building are divided into
five types. each unit with appropriate lighting in duplex and flat forms has
created a desirable space. The main structure of the building is formed in
different dimensions with different patterns of materials on the exterior
and interior walls.
The compound includes six duplex residential units and four flat units that
are intermingled and defined by the movements of the extension surfaces,
walls and internal surfaces.
Consequently this complex with the maximum application of the utilized space
and solid and hollow spaces and generally simple formations has turned out
to be a unique and different architectural design.
